This CD-ROM is an interactive companion to three books in the Practice Your Bidding series by Barbara Seagram & Linda Lee: Jacoby 2NT, Roman Keycard Blackwood, and Splinter Bids. It includes:
Barbara Seagram (Toronto, Canada) ran one of the largest and most successful bridge clubs and bridge schools in N. America. After selling the club in 2007, she now concentrates solely on teaching and organizing her popular bridge cruises. An ABTA Master Teacher, Barbara has been involved in many of MPP's most successful titles, most notably 25 Bridge Conventions You Should Know. With more than 200,000 copies in print in English alone, this book is the bestselling bridge title since Charles Goren was writing in the 1950s. It has been translated into Japanese, French, Danish and German.
Linda Lee (Toronto, Canada) is a retired project management executive who now spends much of her time playing bridge and writing about the game. A multiple Canadian champion who has represented her country several times at the world level, her blog http://linda.bridgeblogging.com is one of the most popular bridge blogs on the net. Her books range from beginner texts to a revised and updated edition of Clyde Love's classic Bridge Squeezes Complete.
"If you enjoyed Barbara Seagram and Linda Lee's three books in their Practice Your Bidding series recently printed by Master Point Press, you'll love the new software. The advantage of the computer version is the ability to print the hands that interest you. For teachers, this is of extreme importance as you get complete hand diagram printouts for all examples. In addition, you get as many more practice hands as you may want when you select the random hands feature. Probably the most important feature of this software is the fact that if you point to a bid, a bubble pops up to tell you what that bid would mean. You can then decide if you want to keep your bid or the recommended one. The author also tells when not to use a bid. For example, when to use Jacoby 2NT or a splinter bid. I particularly like the ability to do interactive bidding with a computer partner. After all, both partners need to be on the same wave length. The software has an excellent tutorial to get you started."

"This extra feature (the Random Hands) in itself probably justifies any price differential between the books and the software."
